Face Framing Balayage
The sun is out and spring is in the air!
Are you ready for spring?
Of course you are!!
Is your hair though?
Adding a little spring inspiration into your hair color is simple yet satisfying. Consider adding some face framing balayage pieces for some springtime pop!
What is a face framing balayage you ask?
This is a technique for highlights where the hair color (or lightener) is swept onto the hair for a soft natural looking highlight. These highlights will be concentrated around the front of your face to add seasonal brightness.
If your ready for a little pick me up you are in the right place!
Here are some of our favorite tones for spring!
Often we view gold as a bad thing (it really isn’t) same as the precious metal, gold is a stunning and expensive looking hair color.
(https://www.glamourmagazine.co.uk/gallery/blake-lively-life-home-husband-baby) Gold adds warmth and brings lightness to the face. With this it can warm up our skin tone, which can be an asset with winter being behind us! This gold tone, brings out Blake’s complection and helps her skin glow!
Florals for spring may not be groundbreaking however they are fabulous!
Consider colors like rose, and our Pantone color of the year Living Coral, for a fresh pop of spring like color. Kate shows off a beautiful face framing balayage with a light hue of pastel rose around the face, and a brighter hue on the ends! This is a great way to play with color and not have it feel overwhelming!
Crazy for Caramel
Lightening up your hair as a brunette can sound slightly terrifying. However you can still feel dark and mysterious but take part in the season.
Mila maintains her brunette status , but kicks it up a notch with the brightness of these caramel strands!
Strawberry blonde is a phenomena sweeping the world (as it should its stunning!)
For a long time when words like strawberry or copper were used, we immediately thought “orange” which could not be further from the truth! These tones are incredibly soft and add vibrancy back to the hair without appearing offensive or glaring.
Spring is a great time to try something new!
Do as little as adding a couple pieces with your next color service or as much as a whole new look!
Don’t know what to try?
That is what we are here for!!!
